If you think that the Green Bay Packers named their home stadium, Lambeau Field after Curly Lambeau, you're right. Lambeau Field is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Lambeau Field was built in 1957, a year after the death of the Green Bay Packers founder, Curly Lambeau. Lambeau Field was the first stadium built strictly for an NFL team. This "frozen tundra" holds 72,928 Packer fans each year since the 2003 renovation. The 2003 renovation of Lambeau Field cost $295 million. The times when Lambeau Field are the fullest are when the Minnesota Vikings come to play against the Green Bay Packers. That game is surly to sell out. Lambeau Field is not only a football stadium but also a historical landmark. Back during the Cold War days, hockey games were held in the center of Lambeau Field as well. Lambeau Field might as well be one of the seven wonders.
