The New Orleans Saints upset the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 to win Super Bowl 44.

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees performed marvelously with 0 interceptions and 32 completions earning him the Super Bowl MVP award and the gratitude of New Orleans Saints fans everywhere. Congratulations to Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints...maybe this time next year, Green Bay will be hosting our own Super Bowl parade!

Green Bay Packers Show Total Package in Cardinal Blowout

By Packers Fan (01/04/2010 04:06 PM)

The Green Bay Packers proved to the NFC North, to the NFL and to themselves that they have the complete package to win games big as they blew out the Arizona Cardinals 33-7 in the regular season finale.

The Packers defense proved they are a force to be reckoned with by holding the Arizona Cardinals to just 48 yards rushing. For the season, the Packers defense finished number one in the league in run defense allowing an average of 83.3 yards per game.

The Packers offense was firing on all cylinders as well. Aaron Rodgers continued his laser precision throws. With no interceptions against the Cardinals, Aaron Rodgers finished the season with just seven interceptions on 541 attempts for a league-best 1.29 percentage. With the 33 points scored against the Cardinals, the Green Bay Packers finished with 461 points for the season, the most in franchise history.

Let's take that mighty momentum with us next week back to Arizona for the NFC Wildcard game.

Last Second Efforts Pay Off...for Steelers

By Packers Ticket Admin (12/21/2009 02:41 PM)

The Pittsburgh Steelers squeaked by the Green Bay Packers 37-36 at Heinz Field Pittsburgh. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed a 19 yard touchdown pass to rookie wide receiver Mike Wallace as time expired to give the Pittsburgh Steelers the win.

The loss was heartbreaking for the land of green and gold. It may have ended the Packers five game winning streak, but our Green Bay team is still in the chase for an NFL Playoff spot. A win by Green Bay and a loss by either the Dallas Cowboys or the New York Giants in the final two games will clinch a playoff berth for the Packers.

Stay tuned Packers fans!

The final Green Bay Packers Baltimore Ravens score was 27-14 making plenty of Green Bay Packers ticket holders very happy.

By Packers Ticket Site (11/23/2009 04:13 PM)

The Green Bay Packers beat the San Francisco 49ers 30-24, improving Green bays record to 6-4 and creating a two game winning streak.

The Green Bay Packers dominated the 49ers in every statistical category in the first half, outgaining them by over 300 yards and controlling the ball for over 22 minutes compared to just 7:28 for the 49ers. It seemed like all cylinders were firing for the Green Bay Packers and if you didn't have a Packers Ticket you missed out on another great game.

The major blemish on Sunday's victory comes in the form of Green Bay Packer injuries. Both linebacker Aaron Kampman and cornerback Al Harris suffered season ending knee injuries.

The Packers now have a short week to prepare for a big Thanksgiving game at Detroit.

Packers Cowboys Game Stellar

By Packers Tickets Site (11/17/2009 01:16 PM)

If you didn't buy a Green Bay Packers Ticket last week, you missed out because the Packers Cowboys game was stellar. The Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 17-7 in front of 70,000 plus fans at Lambeau Field.

"It was an important time in our season to get back in this race," Packer Aaron Rodgers said.

Important indeed. Many Packers fans looked at Week 10 as a deciding point for the rest of the Packers season and the Pack showed that they are still a strong team with great defense and capable offense. The Packers defense had 5 sacks and forced 3 turnovers to smother any Dallas Cowboys offensive hopes. In fact, the Green Bay Packers have allowed seven points or less three times this season.

Another Lambeau Field home game next week is just what the Packers need to stay on this winning track.

Packers Lose to Tampa Bay Bucs, Looking Forward to Lambeau Field Next Two Weeks

By Green Bay Packers Fan (11/09/2009 02:28 PM)

A series of unfortunate events allowed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, giving Tampa Bay their first win of the season. The 28-31 Packers loss moves Green Bay to 4-4 in the NFC North division, tied for second place with the Chicago Bears and a full three games behind the 7-1 Minnesota Vikings.

Packers guard Daryn Colledge said, "It's the same story. Too many penalties, too many mistakes, too many sacks."

The Green Bay Packers now return to Lambeau Field for games against the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers the next two Sundays.

"We've got two home games in a row. We've got to go home and get them both," said Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

Packers Vikings Game ends in Disappointment

By Packers Ticket .com (11/02/2009 04:25 PM)

Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers gave it his all on Sunday and put together a Packers rally in the third quarter, but in the end the Vikings proved to be too much and the Packers lost 26-38.

Aaron Rodgers commented, "One big play from taking momentum. The great teams find a way to win the game. We're a good team with the potential to be great."

Just as disappointing as losing to the Minnesota Vikings TWICE is that the NFC North division title is slipping further out of reach for the Packers. The Packers dropped to 4-3, two games behind the 7-1 division leading Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers need to dust themselves off (especially Aaron Rodgers who suffered 14 sacks courtesy of the Vikings defense this season) and shoot for a victory over Tampa Bay Bucs in Florida on Sunday.

Packers Clear Out the Dog Pound in Cleveland

By Green Bay Packers Fan (10/26/2009 04:38 PM)

The Green Bay Packers played excellent football on Sunday and beat the Cleveland Browns 31-3 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in front of over 69,000 football fans. The Packer win improves Green Bay to 4-2 on the season and in second place in the NFC North Division.

Packer Quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 15 of 20 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns. "I thought it was our best performance technically. We were productive. No sacks (allowed), and we ran the ball well," said Rodgers.

Next up is probably the biggest game on Green Bay Packers schedule. The Packers host division rival Minnesota Vikings on Sunday November 1st at 3:15pm.

The game is critical for many reasons. Number one, the Pack needs to redeem the loss suffered at the Metrodome on Week 4, plus a Green Bay Packer win moves the Pack that much closer to the division lead and, of course, the obvious...it's a Brett Favre homecoming.

Don't miss it.

Green Bay Packers Shut Out Detroit Lions Lambeau Field Rocks

By Green Bay Packers Ticket Site (10/19/2009 09:38 AM)

The Green Bay Packers shut out the Detroit Lions 26-0 at Lambeau Field on Sunday in front of over 70,000 screaming fans. If you bought a Green Bay Packers Ticket then you got your moneys worth!

The Packer offense got off to a quick start, rolling over the Detroit Lions defense in the first quarter scoring two touchdowns. The Packer defense was extra tough, earning their first shutout in two years.

"I thought the crowd was outstanding, playing at home at noon. Once again, home wins and division wins are very important." Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said.

Chicago Bears Bye Week as well, Bears 3-1

Vikings Packers Game at Metrodome Fizzled, not Sizzled for Green Bay Packers

By Green Bay Packers Ticket (10/06/2009 10:54 AM)

The Minnesota Vikings defense was tough on the Packers offense at the Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome last night. The Vikings defense brought relentless pressure forcing an interception, fumble, safety and eight sacks on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers kept it close, though, losing 23-30. Rodgers ended the nationally televised Monday Night football game with 384 yards and two touchdowns. Former Packer, now turned Viking quarterback, Brett Favre ended the night with 271 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers.

By Packers Ticket Site (09/28/2009 10:13 AM)

The Green Bay Packers defeated the St Louis Rams 36-17 in St Louis on Sunday improving the Packers record to 2-1, just one game behind next week's opponent, the Minnesota Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers defense showed great prowess over the Rams creating two fumbles and an interception. The Packers offense led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers made some big plays of their own that showed they are capable of being a playoff caliber team. Aaron Rodgers was 13 for 23 with 269 yards including a great 53 yard pass to Greg Jennings that set up a Packers touchdown.

Way to win, Pack!

Green Bay Packers First Loss of Season Comes at Home, Must Regroup on the Road

By Packers Ticket Site (09/22/2009 05:45 PM)

The Packers suffered a heart breaking 31-24 loss at Lambeau Field on Sunday; losing to the Cincinnati Bengals in front of 70,678 Packer fans. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was sacked 6 times and had trouble executing passes. The Packers defense was no better as it allowed the Cincinnati Bengals to convert 9 of 14 third downs.

The optimistic Packer fan is glad to have the first loss of the season out of the way and is ready to travel to St Louis to take on the 0-2 St Louis Rams. Let's hope Mike McCarthy can round up the Packers team and demand more precision on both sides of the ball.

Green Bay Packers beat Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field for Awesome Opener

By Packers Ticket Site (09/14/2009 12:48 PM)

The Green Bay Packers defense rocked Lambeau Field last night and the Packers offense wasn't far behind. Over 70,000 fans crammed into Lambeau and were not disappointed with the NFL season opener as the Packers beat the Bears 21-15.

The Green Bay defense did a stellar job of shutting down Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, ending Cutlers night with 4 interceptions (yes, 4!) and 1 touchdown. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers faired much better ending the night with zero interceptions and a respectable 92.0 quarterback rating. Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings showed why he loves playing in front of the hometown fans as Lambeau Field went crazy when he scored the go-ahead touchdown.

Packers Preseason Record 3-1, Looking forward to NFL Regular Season Packer Bears Opener

By Green Bay Packers Ticket Site (09/07/2009 01:58 PM)

Back-up Green Bay Packers quarterback Brian Brohm gave the Packers fans something to cheer about, but it wasn't enough. The Packers team fell 13-27 to the Tennessee Titans in their final preseason game, putting the Packers pre-season record at 3-1.

"Young quarterbacks - it's a normal curve of development," Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said. "You want to always see them moving forward, making progress. I think Brian has clearly done that."

But it won't be Brian Brohm leading the Green Bay Packers offense this Sunday night at Lambeau Field, it will be Aaron Rodgers. Packers fans are excited to get the NFL regular season started and what better way to start than a big Sunday night game at Lambeau field facing off against division rival Chicago Bears.

Let's go Pack!

Packers First Line Continues to Shine against Arizona Cardinals

By www.greenbaypackersticket.com (09/01/2009 09:18 AM)

If you didn't stay home and watch the Packers Cardinals Pre-Season game last Friday night, you missed a great game as the Packers pounded the defending Super Bowl Champion Cardinals on their home Phoenix Stadium turf. I guess that warm Arizona air was good for our Pack!

Packers 44, Arizona Cardinals 37

Once again, the Packers first line offense was the star as quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 14 of 19 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers rushed out to a 38-10 lead by halftime.

"I thought we were great tonight" Aaron Rodgers said.

Packers fans agree! Do you realize that the Packers first offensive unit has yet to punt this season? Woot! Woot! AND that the number one offensive line has yet to give up a sack on Rodgers? Wow. Let's hope this Packers pre-season momentum will carry over into the regular season.

Green Bay Packers Pre-Season Looking Strong

By Green Bay Packers Ticket (08/24/2009 10:01 AM)

The Green Bay Packers pre-season continues to look strong. If you missed the Packers Bills game at Lambeau Field Saturday night, you missed a great chance to see your green and gold stomp down on the Buffalo Bills.

Packers 31, Buffalo Bills 21

Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was almost perfect, finishing eight of nine throws which could have been nine of nine had Donald Driver not dropped the ball early in the second quarter. Driver did not disappoint, though, when on the next play he and Rodgers connected and Donald Driver kept his feet inbounds for another Packer touchdown.

"There's a lot of positive information in our first two games.

I feel very good about that,"

-Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy

Next 2 Packer games are NFL Pre-Season games on the road:

Packers Pro Bowl Players

By Packers Ticket Site (02/11/2009 03:30 PM)

Congrats to our Packers Pro Bowlers for a great game in Hawaii. Making all of us in Packerland proud was: Nick Collins with one recorded tackle, Al Harris with three recorded tackles and Charles Woodson who received the honor of being selected, but was unable to play due to injury (Get Well Soon Woodson, we need you!).

The NFL Pro-Bowl is a huge honor and it was nice to see our gold helmets (with the green "G") on the field.

Go Packers! Way to represent!

Packers Season ends with Victory, Hope for Future

By Green Bay Packers Ticket Site (01/05/2009 10:44 AM)

Season Ending History Making Victory

The Green Bay Packers ended their season with a 31-21 win over division rival Detroit Lions. The victory will add the Packers to the NFL history book as they forced the Lions to end the season without a victory, making the Detroit Lions the first team in the NFL to go 0-16. The Packers were grateful to end theor up and down season on a high note.

Rodgers Persevered

The Green Bay Packers closed the 2008 season with a 6-10 record, third in the NFC North. It was an interesting season for the Packers who began it under the cloud of Brett Favre's non-retirement and ensuing trade to the New York Jets. But it wasn't the quarterback position that kept the Packers down. In fact, quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished the season among the NFL top 10 passers in touchdowns and yards. Rodgers 91.4 passer rating brings hope to Packer fans for greater things to come from the Packer offense.

Look for Change

The Green Bay Packers will no doubt be making some changes with their defense and special teams over the off season. Keep checking back to Green Bay Packers Ticket for all of the big Packer updates including an official Packers Schedule release and Packers ticket pre-sale.

Thank you for a great season Packers!

Packers Season Finale could make History

By Green Bay Packers Ticket (12/26/2008 10:42 AM)

History could be made in Green Bay, Wisconsin this Sunday as the Green Bay Packers host the winless Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field. With a Packer victory, the Lions would be the first team in NFL history to go 0-16. You can bet the Lions will be ready to roar and won't go down easily, but neither will the Packers who will want to put on a winning show on their home turf.  The Packers are also determined to show fans that they still have what it takes to win after they let the Monday night Chicago Bears game slip through their hands in over time.
