A heartbreaking game for Packer fans across the nation. We watched our beloved green and gold fall to the mighty Giants 37-20 on our home turf. The Packers defense couldn’t stop the ways of Eli Manning and the Giants multi-functional offense. Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy expressed major disappointment in his team’s inability to tackle, to get Giants players on the ground, and listed that as a key reason for defeat. The offense also wasn’t as effective as it needed to be and didn’t play to the same tune as they had the rest of the season.

Packer Nation, we may be hanging our heads in disappointment, but I still believe in this core team and I am looking forward to a great 2012-2013 season.

What a great year to be a Packers fan!

Aaron Rodgers was his spectacular self, throwing for 283 yards and a career-high five touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. The Packers 35-21 win secured a home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.

The home-field advantage will be key in the playoffs as the Packers have won their last 12 home games. The victory also established a new franchise record for wins in a season. Further, the win has allowed the Packers the luxury of getting healthy before starting their defense of the Lombardi Trophy three weeks from now.

The Bears (7-8) have lsot five straight games since Jay Cutler suffered a broken thumb against San Diego back on November 30.

The Green Bay Packers never left doubt in the minds of fans on Sunday. The Packers intercepted Carson Palmer on the Raiders first possession.

The Packers steadily added points, accumulating a 34-0 lead before the Raiders finally managed to get on the board. Though the Packers didn't have the best offensive day, Aaron Rodgers was held to a passer rating of under 100 for the first time this season, the Packers defense forced turnovers when it mattered.

The unbeaten Green Bay Packers sealed the division title when the Detroit Lions (7-4) lost 31-17 to the New Orleans Saints (8-3). The Packers earned their playoff spot even before their game against the New York Giants (6-6) kicked off because the Chicago Bears (7-5) were upset 10-3 by the Kansas City Chiefs (5-7).

With the Packers headed to the post season, Packer fans need to start thinking about playoffs! Get into the mood by catching the Pack at Lambeau.

The Detroit Lions found out the hard way that it's hard to beat the Packers when they are at the best and even harder when the Lions' defense is weakened.

After other misfortunes, the defense was deflated swiftly when a kick from all-pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh caused his ejection in the third quarter. Suh was ejected early in the third of the 27-15 Packer victory after he repeatedly smashed Evan Dietrich-Smith's head to the turf during a skirmish. He proceeded to kick the Green bay guard in the arm as he walked away.

John Kuhn 1-yard TD surge two plays later and the extra point gave the Packers a 14-0 advantage. From that point on, the Packers could not be stopped.

Aaron Rodgers went 22-32 for 307 yards, two TDs without any interceptions. Rodgers tied Steve Young with his 11th game of the season with a passer rating of at least 110.

The Packers will look to continue their perfect season as they play at New Meadowlands Stadium against the New York Giants.

Though Aaron Rodgers was having an off day, by his standards of course, the Green Bay Packers pulled out another victory. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave all the Packers could handle, but it wasn't enough.

Green Bay led by two points and was trying to fend off a Tampa Bay rally in the fourth quarter, when Rodgers found Jordy Nelson for a clinching 40-yard touchdown with 2:55 remaining to hold on for a 35-26 victory.

The Buccaneers gave the Packers one of their toughest games of the year despite a rough start.

The Bucs got a big rush up the middle of the field on punter Tim Masthay, who fumbled, picked it back up and ran for the first down.

Rodgers made the most of the Packers' big break, diving Green Bay to the Tampa Bay 12-yard line, where he scrambled to convert a third down. Rodgers kept the ball again on the next play and took a big hit on the shoulder from Ronde Barber, stopping short of the goal line.

Rodgers then passed off the ball to big defensive lineman B.J. Raji, who plunged one yard for a touchdown.

Aaron Rodgers performed like a rockstar on Monday Night Football when he threw for 4 TDs as Green Bay picked up a win over the Minnesota Vikings to remain perfect.

The Packers remain the NFL's lone undefeated team and, if Monday night is any indication, the Packers can now count on a defense to complement their high-octane offense! The Packers are looking more and more unstoppable every game.

The Packers defense contained Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings as Aaron Rodgers threw for four scores against a fierce Vikings pass rush. The Vikings defense attempted to shut Rodgers down, sacking him three times, but the pressure just wasn't enough.

The Packers picked up another win over the Vikings, 45-7.

Another mighty win for the Pack! The Green Bay Packers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 48-21 for the NFC Divisional Playoff win, an outing Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers repeatedly referred to as a "special night" following the game.

Aaron Rodgers set a postseason pass completion record with 86% as he connected on 31 of 36 passes. Rodgers threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions for a 136.8 passer rating - yea haw! It was a great day to be a Packers fan.

The final game of the Wild Card Weekend is between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The Packers had suffered injuries in the beginning of the 2010 season, but have recovered nicely. The Packers won their final game against the Chicago Bears to slide in to the playoffs.

The Eagles lost to the Packers 27-20 in the first week of the season. Since Michael Vick took over the starting QB job for good, the Eagles have turned into a dominant team in the NFC. Philadelphia won the NFC East, finished with a 10-6 record, and earned the No. 3 seed in the playoffs.

Every upcoming game is important for the Green Bay Packers as they hope to secure a playoff spot. The Chicago Bears clinched the NFC North Division Champion spot after beating the Minnesota Vikings on Monday. The Packers are coming off two losses against the Lions and the Patriots respectively.

The Green Bay Packers enjoyed another spectacular win on Sunday over the San Francisco 49ers, bringing the Pack to 8-4. The Packers scored 6 different times to beat the 49ers 34-16.

Jeff Reed of the 49ers started the scoring for both teams with a 44 yard field goal drive. In the 2nd quarter, Reed again had a field goal, this time for 26 yards. While the Packers looked to be off their game, Greg Jennings caught a 57 yard pass from Aaron Rodgers for a touch down. The kick was good on the play. Following Jennings' TD, John Kuhn had a 1 yard run in to the end zone, with the kick being good. The Packers led 14-6.

Vernon Davis caught a pass from Troy Smith in the end of the 2nd to tighten the score for the 49ers. Going in to the half, the Packers led 14-13.

The third quarter started with a 61 yard pass from Rodgers to Donal Driver, resulting in a touch down. The kick from Crosby was good. Reed responded with a 23 yard field goal. From there out, the Packers controlled the game scoring three more times with a TD and two field goals.

The Packers went on to win 34-16. The Pack will travel to Detroit on Sunday, December 12th.

The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers are currently enjoying a season sweep over the Minnesota Vikings after downing the Vikings 31-3 on Sunday. Rodgers has now evened up his career record against the Vikings to 3-3. The Packer defense clearly highlighted who is dominating the rivalry now!

Rodgers went 22 for 31 for 301 yards and four touchdowns as Farve showed his age at Mall of America Field. The Packers move to 7-3 after the win as the Vikings fall to a hopeless 3-7.

The loss to the Packers prompted the firing of Brad Childress. This is the second time this 2010 season a Packers win has resulted in the firing of an opposing teams coach.

The Green Bay Packers have not yet stamped their ticket to the Superbowl in Dallas, but they clearly settled doubts about the capability to perform at a championship level when they thumped the Cowboys on Sunday.

The 45-7 victory blasted its way in to the headlines as being the impressive win for the Packers and the end of Coach Wade Phillips for the Cowboys. The Packers finally managed to puzzle the pieces together in a 60-minute display of the raw talent possessed by the Pack. All three forms of their team scored TD's: Offense (check), Defense (check), Special Teams (check). The offense was as proficient as it has all season, complemented by a championship-quality defense.

Overall, I claim that this past game against the Cowboys was the best game the Packers have played all season. They've earned their bye week before heading to Minnesota.

In the week 8 game against the New York Jets, the clock was winding down Sunday in the fourth quarter and the Green Bay Packers worked furiously to protect a slim 6-0 lead. On fourth down, with little over four minutes left to play, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez fired downfield. Charlie Peprah jumped and broke up the pass at the Packers' 12-yard line.

The Jets had possession of the ball less than a minute later and, again, Sanchez fired downfield, but Peprah's hit dislodged the ball on the 45-yard line before the toss could be ruled a catch. Congratulations to Charlie Peprah for his outstanding defensive work on Sunday!

The Packer's 9-0 win over the Jets puts Green Bay at the top of the NFC North Division.

The Minnesota Vikings and Brett Favre looked severely defeated as the Green Bay Packers squeaked by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.  The officiating crew made some errors during the game, for both sides, but the Green Bay Packers escaped with the win.  After two devastating overtime losses, the Packers are gaining some ground and are looking to lead the NFC race. 

The Green Bay Packers will head to Meadowland to take on the New York Jets this week.

The storyline of Brett Favre returning to Green Bay for a rival matchup against the Minnesota Vikings never gets old.  The Green Bay Packers are a game back in the NFC North after losing the OT game against the Miami Dolphins at Lambeau Field.

The game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday is going to be an exciting one. The Vikings have raised their game in the past three weeks, picking up Randy Moss and beating the Dallas Cowboys, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. For the Packers, Woodsen scored early in the third quarter for a large margin lead of 28-14 over the Lions.  With an expected victory under their yellow and green belts, Green Bay was unpleasantly surprised when Hanson, of the Lions came back with four field goals to cut the lead by two points. The clock was the best offense and defense the Green Bay Packers could ask for at that point as their victory was sealed by the dwindling seconds.

The Lions have now lost three of their first four games by a combined ten points and the Packers move to 3-1 while looking to the Washington Redskins for their upcoming game.

The Green Bay Packers will complete Organized Team Activities on June 16th. The Packers will continue their offseason training with a three day mandatory mini-camp that will run Monday, June 21 through Wednesday, June 23 at Nitschke Field.

The Packer players are scheduled to report for training camp on Friday, July 30, with the first training camp practice slated for the afternoon of Saturday, July 31.

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees performed marvelously with 0 interceptions and 32 completions earning him the Super Bowl MVP award and the gratitude of New Orleans Saints fans everywhere. The Green Bay Packers proved to the NFC North, to the NFL and to themselves that they have the complete package to win games big as they blew out the Arizona Cardinals 33-7 in the regular season finale.

The Packers defense proved they are a force to be reckoned with by holding the Arizona Cardinals to just 48 yards rushing. For the season, the Packers defense finished number one in the league in run defense allowing an average of 83.3 yards per game.

The Packers offense was firing on all cylinders as well. Aaron Rodgers continued his laser precision throws. With no interceptions against the Cardinals, Aaron Rodgers finished the season with just seven interceptions on 541 attempts for a league-best 1.29 percentage. With the 33 points scored against the Cardinals, the Green Bay Packers finished with 461 points for the season, the most in franchise history.

Let's take that mighty momentum with us next week back to Arizona for the NFC Wildcard game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers squeaked by the Green Bay Packers 37-36 at Heinz Field Pittsburgh. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed a 19 yard touchdown pass to rookie wide receiver Mike Wallace as time expired to give the Pittsburgh Steelers the win. 

The loss was heartbreaking for the land of green and gold. It may have ended the Packers five game winning streak, but our Green Bay team is still in the chase for an NFL Playoff spot. The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, completing a season sweep over the NFC North rival Bears. The Green Bay Packers started out strong and controlled the game early including a 62 yard touchdown run by Ryan Grant that made NFL highlight reels across the nation.

A series of unfortunate events allowed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, giving Tampa Bay their first win of the season. The 28-31 Packers loss moves Green Bay to 4-4 in the NFC North division, tied for second place with the Chicago Bears and a full three games behind the 7-1 Minnesota Vikings.

Packers guard Daryn Colledge said, "It's the same story. Too many penalties, too many mistakes, too many sacks."

The Green Bay Packers now return to Lambeau Field for games against the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers the next two Sundays.

"We've got two home games in a row. We've got to go home and get them both," said Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

The Minnesota Vikings defense was tough on the Packers offense at the Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome last night. The Vikings defense brought relentless pressure forcing an interception, fumble, safety and eight sacks on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers kept it close, though, losing 23-30. Rodgers ended the nationally televised Monday Night football game with 384 yards and two touchdowns. Former Packer, now turned Viking quarterback, Brett Favre ended the night with 271 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers.

The Green Bay Packers defeated the St Louis Rams 36-17 in St Louis on Sunday improving the Packers record to 2-1, just one game behind next week's opponent, the Minnesota Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers defense showed great prowess over the Rams creating two fumbles and an interception. The Packers offense led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers made some big plays of their own that showed they are capable of being a playoff caliber team. Aaron Rodgers was 13 for 23 with 269 yards including a great 53 yard pass to Greg Jennings that set up a Packers touchdown.

Way to win, Pack!

The Packers suffered a heart breaking 31-24 loss at Lambeau Field on Sunday; losing to the Cincinnati Bengals in front of 70,678 Packer fans. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was sacked 6 times and had trouble executing passes. The Packers defense was no better as it allowed the Cincinnati Bengals to convert 9 of 14 third downs.

The optimistic Packer fan is glad to have the first loss of the season out of the way and is ready to travel to St Louis to take on the 0-2 St Louis Rams. Let's hope Mike McCarthy can round up the Packers team and demand more precision on both sides of the ball.

The Green Bay Packers defense rocked Lambeau Field last night and the Packers offense wasn't far behind. Over 70,000 fans crammed into Lambeau and were not disappointed with the NFL season opener as the Packers beat the Bears 21-15.

The Green Bay defense did a stellar job of shutting down Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, ending Cutlers night with 4 interceptions (yes, 4!) and 1 touchdown. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers faired much better ending the night with zero interceptions and a respectable 92.0 quarterback rating. Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings showed why he loves playing in front of the hometown fans as Lambeau Field went crazy when he scored the go-ahead touchdown.

NFL GAME 1

Back-up Green Bay Packers quarterback Brian Brohm gave the Packers fans something to cheer about, but it wasn't enough. The Packers team fell 13-27 to the Tennessee Titans in their final preseason game, putting the Packers pre-season record at 3-1.

"Young quarterbacks - it's a normal curve of development," Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said. "You want to always see them moving forward, making progress. I think Brian has clearly done that."

But it won't be Brian Brohm leading the Green Bay Packers offense this Sunday night at Lambeau Field, it will be Aaron Rodgers. Packers fans are excited to get the NFL regular season started and what better way to start than a big Sunday night game at Lambeau field facing off against division rival Chicago Bears.

If you didn't stay home and watch the Packers Cardinals Pre-Season game last Friday night, you missed a great game as the Packers pounded the defending Super Bowl Champion Cardinals on their home Phoenix Stadium turf. I guess that warm Arizona air was good for our Pack!

Once again, the Packers first line offense was the star as quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 14 of 19 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers rushed out to a 38-10 lead by halftime.

Packers fans agree! Do you realize that the Packers first offensive unit has yet to punt this season? Woot! Woot! AND that the number one offensive line has yet to give up a sack on Rodgers? Wow. Let's hope this Packers pre-season momentum will carry over into the regular season.

It may seem like Packer football is a long way off, but it will come up fast.  The Packers officially started their offseason program on March 16 so I guess the season has kind of already started - right?!?!

This weekend is Green Bay Packers Fan Fest at Lambeau Field Atrium. Packer fans will get the chance to meet some of their favorite players during organized autograph sessions. The two-day NFL Packer Fan Fest event also features admission to the Packers Hall of Fame, exclusive tours through the Packers locker room and many more Packer themed attractions. Parents are encourage to bring their kids as there is plenty for the youngest Packer fans to do including the ever-famous Packer inflatables!

Congrats to our Packers Pro Bowlers for a great game in Hawaii. Making all of us in Packerland proud was: Nick Collins with one recorded tackle, Al Harris with three recorded tackles and Charles Woodson who received the honor of being selected, but was unable to play due to injury (Get Well Soon Woodson, we need you!).

The NFL Pro-Bowl is a huge honor and it was nice to see our gold helmets (with the green "G") on the field.

The Green Bay Packers ended their season with a 31-21 win over division rival Detroit Lions. The victory will add the Packers to the NFL history book as they forced the Lions to end the season without a victory, making the Detroit Lions the first team in the NFL to go 0-16. The Packers were grateful to end theor up and down season on a high note.

Rodgers Persevered

The Green Bay Packers closed the 2008 season with a 6-10 record, third in the NFC North. It was an interesting season for the Packers who began it under the cloud of Brett Favre's non-retirement and ensuing trade to the New York Jets. But it wasn't the quarterback position that kept the Packers down. In fact, quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished the season among the NFL top 10 passers in touchdowns and yards. Rodgers 91.4 passer rating brings hope to Packer fans for greater things to come from the Packer offense.
