More Info
Aleric Mullins was born in Hayti, Missouri and spent his childhood and early teen years in that state. For freshman and sophomore year of high school, Aleric Mullins played football and sang in the choir for the Caruthersville High School groups. Aleric Mullins competed in a couple different positions and even moved schools. He played his final two years of high school ball at East Wake High School in Wendell, North Carolina. This proved to be a smart choice because he ended up seeing lots of playing time and was recognized as a SuperPrep All-America selection and the second best player to come out of North Carolina.
Next up was college. After much consideration, Aleric Mullins decided to enroll at North Carolina. On the North Carolina Tarheels football team, Aleric Mullins played in 38 games and had five starts over the course of his freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. As a sophomore, Aleric Mullins recorded 19 tackles (3.5 for loss) and two sacks. As a junior, Aleric Mullins made 12 tackles (two for loss) and he also had one sack and two fumble recoveries.
Aleric Mullins decided to miss out on what would have been his senior year in order to enter NFL ranks early. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers in May 2010 after attending rookie training camp and catching the eye of many in the coaching staff.
Aleric Williams will still have work to do in order to prove himself ready for action. To see him play live, purchase your Green Bay Packers football tickets today!
