Andrew Quarless was born on October 6, 1988. He grew up on the east coast and attended Long Island's Holy Trinity High School for two years before moving to Uniondale High School for his final two high school seasons of football.
Andrew Quarless did not have difficulty finding interest college teams based on his high performing high school career. Andrew Quarless fielded offers from several schools and ultimately selectd Penn State. While there, Andrew Quarless was known for a hard work ethic and the ability to make great plays.
Andrew Quarless did not disappoint at Penn State. By the time he graduated, Andrew Quarless set the new school record for receptions by a tight end in a career. Andrew Quarless hauled in 87 throws over the course of his years with Penn State. He also set the single season record by pulling in 41 tosses during his 2009 senior season with Penn State.
Andrew Quarless' rankings don't stop there, however. He is second in Penn State record book with 1,146 receiving yards for a tight end. Andrew Quarless also made a school bowl record when he pulled in 8 receptions for the East-West Shrine Game.
Andrew Quarless made the record books once again when he was picked by the Green Bay Packers. Surprisingly, Andrew Quarless was the very first tight end from Penn State to be drafted by the Green Bay Packers football program.
In the 2010 season, Andrew Quarless had picked up 238 yards and had 21 receptions averaging 11.3 yards per catch.
