Anthony Terrell Toribio was born on March 1, 1985 on Miami, Florida. He attended Miami Central High School where he started his athletic career playing football and running track. Early on in his high school career he made a name for himself as a strong defensive end. After graduation he went to Carson-Newman College in Jefferson, Tennessee. Anthony Toribio was a four-year letter winner for the Carson-Newman Eagles. His senior season at Carson-Newman he was an All-South Atlantic Coast Conference after he racked up 25 tackles, 11.5 for loss and 5.5 sacks.
After he ended his career with the Eagles, he was not drafted in the 2008 NFL draft and was signed to the Miami Dolphins practice squad September 2, 2008. He participated in all of the pre-season training camps before not making the final roster cutdown. He spent the first half of the season on the practice team for the Miami Dolphins before he was released. Two days later, the Green Bay Packers were signed Anthony Toribio to their practice squad. On December 18, 2008 he was signed to the active Green Bay Packers roster although he did not play in the two remaining games of the season against the Chicago Bears or the Detroit Lions.
