Atari Bigby
Atari David Bigby was born in Kingston, Jamaica on September 19, 1981. Atari Bigby attended Miami High School where he lettered three years in football. He attended high school with Denver Broncos safety Marquand Manuel, Houston Texan’s wide receiver Andre Johnson, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Roscoe Parrish, Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jamaal Jackson, and Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem. In high school, Atari Bigby played every position on the field other than lineman. During his senior year he recorded 72 tackles, four forced fumbles, and one interception on defense. On offense Atari Bigby statistics included 500 receiving yards, 315 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Atari Bigby was originally signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad on November 1, 2005. On December 22, 2005 he made the active Packer roster. During the 2006 season Atari Bigby was part of the Packers special teams where he made five tackles. On January 3, 2007 the NFL announced that Bigby was named the NFC Defensive Player of the month. Atari Bigby had an interception in three of Green Bay Packers four December games. On January 12 Atari Bigby started his first playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks. He finished the Packer Seahawks game with seven tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defended. On March 21, 2008, Atari Bigby signed a one year tender deal with the Green Bay Packers. Bigby had the Packers first 2008 interception against division rivals Minnesota Vikings during the season opening Monday Night Football game. During the 2009 season, Atari Bigby played in 13 games with 11 starts. He was active in the playoffs as well.
