Curtis Young signed on to the Green Bay Packers practice squad on December 1, 2010. Joining the NFL Green Bay Packers team in 2010 gave Young the opportunity to be a member of the Super Bowl XLV Championship. Before joining on to the Green Bay Packers, Curtis Young was a member of the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League.

During his college football career, Curtis Young played for the University of Cincinnati Bearcats at defensive end. As a senior at Cincinnati, Young registered 50 tackles, including 11 stops for loss.
