Derrick Frost has been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers.
Derrick E. Frost was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 25, 1980. Derrick Frost attended Clayton High School in Clayton, Missouri. There he lettered in Football and baseball. He was an All-Conference selection as a quarterback, linebacker, punter, and kicker.
Derrick Frost attended the University of Northern Iowa. At the University of Northern Iowa Derrick Frost also lettered in football and baseball. During his college career Clayton Frost Punted 104 times for 4388 yards.
In 2003 he was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent. He eventually wound up being signed by the Cleveland Browns. Derrick Frost completed two seasons at Cleveland before moving to the Washington Redskins. During the 2006 season Frost has had success with nine 40+ punts. Also he had a couple of 50+ punts for the Washington Redskins. In 2008, he battled rookie Durant Brooks for the punting job. He was cut on August 30 during final cuts. Two days after being released by the Redskins Derrick Frost was signed by the Green Bay Packers. Frost replaced punter Jon Ryan. As of November 16, 2008, Derrick Frost has had 1712 punting yards with the Green Bay Packers. The most punting yards he had in one game this season was on November 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. In that game Derrick Frost punted 281 yards all together.
