Erik Walden, a Georgia native, is a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers. Before joining the NFL in 2008, Walden played for the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.

Initially, Erik Walden was drafted in the 2008 NFL Draft and signed a four-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys before being waived a month later. A day after being dropped by the Cowboys, Walden was scooped up by the Kansas City Chiefs only to be waived once again in November. Erik Walden went on to play for the Miami Dolphins for two seasons before changing over to the Green Bay Packers on October 31, 2010.
