Team Member Information
Graham Harrell was signed by the Green Bay Packers in May 2010 as a free agent. Previous to this, Graham Harrell was on the Saskatchewan Roughriders (Canadian Football League) roster for the 2009 season, but he was injured and did not compete.
Back in his healthier days, Graham Harrell was a record breaking quarterback for Texas Tech. By the time Graham Harrell finished his college days, he was ranked first in NCAA records for passing touchdowns (134) and completions (1,403). Graham Harrell came in second for career passing yards (15,793). Graham Harrell had 20 games that ended up with over 400 passing yards--another NCAA record--and after playing 39 consecutive games with over 200 passing yards, Graham Harrell made the history books again. One final record: Graham Harrell had TWO 5,000 yard seasons and he is the only NCAA quarterback to have ever done that.
Graham Harrell was coached by his father at Ennis High School in Texas and was a varsity football player, basketballer, and track star. Graham Harrell quarterbacked his team to the state championship as a SOPHOMORE and amassed 12,532 yards and 167 career touchdowns.
Three months after signing on with the Packers, Harrell released but was re-signed to the practice squad the next day. In December, Graham Harrell was signed to the active roster due to an injury to Aaron Rodgers and is ready to prove he belongs there for good.
