Jeremy Thompson played college football for the Wake Forest Deacons and is now a part of the NFL Green Bay Packers.
Jeremy Cam Thompson was born in Voorhees Township, New Jersey on October 9, 1985. Thompson attended high school at Charlotte Christian School. Jeremy Thompson was ranked 40th nationally at the defensive end position by Rivals.com. He was also ranked 19th among North Carolina prospects and 90th on the “Atlantic Hot 100” by TheInsiders.com.
Jeremy Thompson played college football at Wake Forest. His freshman year Thompson started three of the 11 games at right defensive end. During the season he made 15 tackles and one sack. As a sophomore Thompson started his first 8 games at right defensive end. During the season Jeremy suffered a left anterior cruciate ligament tear. He was forced to miss the last three games due to the injury. Thompson came back and played in 14 games his junior year. He only started in eight because he shoulder in late November when Wake Forest was playing Maryland. During the season he made 30 tackles and a sack. As a senior Jeremy Thompson led the team with 6.5 sacks and ranked second on the squad with 11 stops. Thompson was one of 10 finalists for the National Sportsmanship Award.
Jeremy Thompson was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round. Jeremy’s older brother is Green Bay Packers offensive lineman, Orrin Thompson.
