Patrick Christopher Lee was born February 20, 1984 in Miami, Florida. Pat Lee started his football career in high school at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami. Scout.com ranked him as the 29th best cornerback in the nation after finishing his senior year with 70 tackles, 7 pass break-ups, 3 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries. He received offers from Auburn, North Carolina State, Michigan State and Rutgers and committed to Auburn in January 2003.
After sitting out his true freshman year, Pat Lee started his college football career in 2004. In his redshirt freshman season, Pat played in 12 games posting 14 tackles including one for loss. As a returning sophomore, Pat Lee played in 11 games starting 5 of them. As a junior, Pat Lee really started to establish himself on the team. In the 2006 season he played in all 13 games starting 4 and posting 25 tackles with 7 pass defenses. In his last season with the Auburn Tigers, Pat Lee started in all 13 games and was Second Team All-SEC. He was a team leader pulling in 55 tackles and returning 11 kickoffs for 284 yards.
In the 2008 NFL draft, Pat Lee was drafted in the 2nd round by the Green Bay Packers as the 60th overall pick. Pat Lee joined the Green Bay Packers for their training camp but was listed as inactive for the first 3 weeks of the season. He then played the next 5 games off of the Green Bay Packers schedule before becoming injured and being listed on the Green Bay Packers roster as an injured reserve.
