Quinn Johnson was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and he attended West St. John High School in Edgard, Louisiana as a teen. Quinn Johnson was a key reason why his high school team made it to the 2A state championship in 2003--a proud moment for Quinn Johnson and his family.

Quinn Johnson competed for Louisiana State for his years of college. At LSU, Quinn Johnson competed in 40 career games with 15 starts. Quinn Johnson was originally a linebacker who switched positions prior to his sophomore year. Quinn Johnson ran 16 times for 34 yards and five touchdowns, and also had five catches for 54 yards.

In 2009, Quinn Johnson made his NFL debut. Quinn Johnson competed in nine games for the Green Bay Packers football team and competed mostly as fullback though he also played some on special teams. Quinn Johnson hauled in two passes for 4 yards.
