Ruvell Martin was born in Muskegon, Michigan on August 10, 1982. Martin Attended Muskegon Catholic Central High School. While in High school Ruvell played quarterback.
Ruvell Martin attended college at Saginaw Valley State University. Marin was redshirted his freshman year but then went on to become a three time letter winner. As a sophomore he was named the team’s most valuable wide receiver. As a junior he was a second team All Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection. During his senior year he was named first team All Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection.
In 2005, Ruvell Martin played for the Amsterdam Admirals. Martin earned All NFL Europe honors after leading the league with 679 receiving yards and twelve touchdowns. The Amsterdam Admirals went on to win the 2005 World Bowl championship.
Ruvell Martin started playing for the Green Bay Packers in 2006. During the last game of the 2006 season Martin caught seven passes for 118 yards. On November 10, 2007 Ruvell made two touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings. Ruvell Martin became a free agent after the 2008 season.
