At Mount Tabor High School, Ryan Taylor was a member of North Carolina’s Shrine Bowl team and was ranked the no. 47 tight end in the country by Rivals.com. Taylor was also a two-time all-conference selection, among countless other achievements. Ryan Taylor still holds the single-season record with 64 receptions for 1,180 yards.
